Touch Grass | Snail Collection

Go on. Touch grass, I dare you. It'll make you feel better, promise. 

This collection, is a beautifully desperate reminder that mama nature is the best healer, and that you, your friends, your mum, your dog, needs to step away from their phone/laptop and god forbid, Claude (throws up), and stop scrolling and start strolling. 

This Touch Grass collection is printed on the 1979 Field Guide to the Land Snails of Britain and North-West Europe by Michael Kerney and R.A.D. Cameron, from which I've lovingly ripped out the pages and letterpress printed on with black ink using vintage wood-type blocks. 

The ink has dried in a super cool way where the original ink from the snail illustrations is fighting to come to the front, creating a lovely texture when the snails catch the light.

Each print is one of kind.

Hand-pulled in the Hellbox studio on a vintage Farley proofing press, using Van Son rubber-based black ink.

Each one approximately size 127mm x 190mm
